Once your design team has completed drawings, I’ll handle the full submittal process. I’ll prepare the applications, format your drawings correctly, and submit directly to the jurisdiction. You’ll get confirmation once it’s submitted, the permit number, and regularly scheduled updates.

Why did I start The Permit Connection?

Even as technology evolves, permitting somehow hasn’t. I’ve seen firsthand how aggravating and time-consuming the process can be – you have better things to do than spending time going back and forth with your building jurisdiction. 

I’ve sat on calls with frustrated project managers and architects who just needed someone in their corner. That’s why I built this business.

For any package, I’ll at least need your site address and scope of work – but feel free to send me everything you have. I’ll review it and then set up a 30-minute intro call so we can plan the next steps together.

Intro Call

After reviewing your initial info, we’ll jump on a call, finalize the package and make a plan to get started.

Payment and Contract

 I’ll get you signed off on our agreement, and send you the initial invoice, then from there, it’s all green lights!

 Leave it to me

 I’ll get to work, leaving you to do what you do best – only jumping in when you need an update, or some info to step forward.

DO YOU USE AI TO COMPLETE MY BUILDING PERMIT SUBMISSIONS? +

Nope, it’s just me Jordyn! I work alongside you each step of the way, and handle everything myself, so you know your permitting needs are in the capable, experienced hands of a REAL person.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PACKAGE I NEED? +

If you’re early in design or unsure what your jurisdiction requires, the Research Package is the best starting point. If you’re ready to submit drawings, the Submittal Package is ideal. If you want end-to-end support until the permit is issued, choose the All-Inclusive Package. Check out the Package options for more info.

CAN I UPGRADE FROM ONE PACKAGE TO ANOTHER LATER? +

Absolutely. Many clients begin with the Research Package and then upgrade once they’re ready for submission. Your previous investment will be credited toward the upgraded package.

DO YOU HANDLE PLAN REVISIONS OR RESUBMITTALS? +

Yes. If a jurisdiction requests revisions, I coordinate with you and your team, and handle the resubmittal so the process continues smoothly.

DO YOU ASSIST WITH EXPEDITED REVIEWS? +

Some jurisdictions offer expediting (for an additional fee). I can coordinate the request and manage the whole process if it’s available.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK? DO YOU ORGANIZE PAYMENT OF THE PERMITS AND TAKE A CUT? +

Permit fees are paid directly to the jurisdiction. I don’t collect or mark up these fees, but I’ll provide all payment instructions or a secure credit-card authorization form when needed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A RESEARCH PACKAGE? +

Most Research Packages are completed within 3 business days, depending on the complexity and scope of your project.
